Yes! Linux Mint Cinnamon is my favorite version (or distro) of Linux! And the next version will most likely be out sometime in June of 2024! The version number will be 22.04 and the “code name” will be “Wilma”. And it will be based upon Ubuntu 24.04.

With the 21.x versions of LMC (Linux Mint Cinnamon) Clem and his team have begun to “far outshine” all versions of Windows! And I’m sure that the new series will put them much further ahead once again!

Approximately 85% of my computer consulting clients have switched from some version of Windows to LMC and most of them love it! Only two have returned to Windows over the last 9 years! In both cases they were people who strongly disliked using computers in the first place and wanted something more “familiar”.

Clem and his team are very busy “little beavers”! Every 6 months or so, they put out another version of LMC! Version 22.04 should be coming out in June, and then 22.x sometime in late December of 2024 or early January of 2025!

Keep your eyes open for more articles on cool things you can do with LMC! There’s a LOT! And if you want to start a “User’s Group” for LMC, then please let me know. I tried to get one going a while back, but folks lost interest. Send me an eMail if you’d like to start one again!
